body prints

My bachelor thesis shows various imprints of my own body on large-format canvases. My body acted as a brush that translated the movements executed on the image carrier into two-dimensional forms. By a special ink color mixture gestures became visible and conserved at the same time. These traces can be read as testimony to an explorative probing of one's own body in connection with the color material. The resulting sculptural-looking black-and-white worlds imply their own process of creation and refer to the power and dynamics of the human body.
